Practice in the privacy of your own space

​What if we gave ourselves more time? More time to breathe mindfully, to move gracefully, to just be there and not do anything but take care of ourselves?

​

The more I get to know people who come to the sessions I offer, the more I understand how making that time for ourselves really matters, and takes real effort. That effort is worth it. Because once we commit to nourishing ourselves, we open up to experiences that rejuvenate our minds and bodies and connect us to the inner meaning of our lives and our presence in the world. We are better for ourselves. We are better for others.

"Easier said than done," as they say. But reclaiming time we've given to our jobs, our family, children, parents, and partners, doesn't need to require some earth shattering move that everyone notices, although that may depending on how little you were giving to yourself in the first place. Still, it can be done in small steps that are hardly inconvenient for everyone else we look after, but truly matters in the end.

With a gentle sense of commitment, and five minutes here, thirty minutes there, maybe a couple hours every couple of weeks or even once a month — you will sense the importance of nourishing yourself. I'm sure you already have. And my goal is to help you receive more of that by offering a gentle structure to give yourself more time — for your well-being and for the well-being of the people and organizations in your life.

Yoga transforms us for the better. Not just to be fit and look good - those are welcomed side effects. But to grow into who we are meant to be, to inspire others to do the same, and to be better for all of us. 

 

I hope you'll join me in this new potentially ongoing offering, a hybrid of the virtual classes I offer to the wellness company HAP's clients, and my ongoing Sunday morning class.

The 30-minute sessions will be offered for 10-11 weeks each season.

Each class flows with:

​

A brief check-in with the group to see what we'd like to work on today, physically or energetically

 

Grounding through guided body awareness

 

Relevant breathwork & Yoga postures/movements to address the group's needs

 

A short guided meditation and sound healing to close

 

Since I was a child, I made it a point to make time for myself. I don't know how I knew to do that but I am so grateful that I carried that skill with me through my life, especially when I needed it most. I want to be there for you, who are busy with all the things life brings, and to make sure you get a little nourishing time to yourself.

 

To reconnect to our inner selves, is to reconnect with Life Itself.​
 

Optional Add-on: 30-Minute Check-In (One-on-One)

A supportive space to connect, reflect, and receive personalized insight. We’ll explore what’s present for you — physically, energetically, or emotionally — and discuss how your yoga or wellness practice can support you right now.​​ You'll be contacted 24 hours after signing-up to set up a good time for our session.
